The Association of Post Consumer Plastics Recyclers (APR)


The website, plastics recycling.org, is dedicated to the cause of ‘plastics recycling’ and is an initiative of The Association of Post Consumer Plastics Recyclers (APR). This association comes with a goal to increase the amount of plastics that are recycled in North America.

It highlights the broad initiatives of APR and comes with a section with elaborate ‘technical resources’ covering design for recyclability guidance, testing critical guidance etc. Also online is APR buyers & sellers list which provides an outline of the material that is bought and sold by APR members who represent 90% of the post consumer plastics recycling processing capacity in North America.

To inculcate the approach of recycling and set a disciplined mind at a young age, the site has very uniquely created a section called ‘kids recycling zone’ which highlights the recycling magic besides providing varied links that would excite kids.
