| Plastics in Land Reclamation - Each hectare needs at least 500 meter of plastic perforated and non-perforated pipes. The total requireemnt needed would go to the enormous figure like 4 million km. of variety of plastic ducts of various sizes. If we calculate this requiement of running metres into the quantity in terms of M.T., it could be about 1.4 million tonnes of plastic raw material processing, say to be achieved in 25 years, needing approx. 55000 M.T. of additional material consumption for land reclamation alone.
