| The Indian plastic industry has been growing consistently well with enormous potential for the future. However, the industry needs to expedite all round improvement in quality with focus on reduction in material consumed and energy used to enhance the value add of plastic products, so extensively and increasingly being used in our day-to-day lives. Induction of updated processing machinery and know - how, use of modern production and quality assurance systems, & improvement in quality of the manpower are key priorities for realisation of the global potential of the Indian plastic industry.
