The Indian Packaging Industry has tremendous potential as the per capita consumption of packaging in India amounts to only $ 15; the global average being $ 100. Consumption is being boosted by the increasing demand for food, beverages and everyday consumer goods. Amid these promising possibilities, South India has been growing as a major industry hub. The special edition of India Packaging Show 2010, scheduled from 9^th – 12^th April, 2010 at Hitex Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad, decides to explore rising prospects of this region.
