TIPREX, Thai International Plastics and Rubber Exhibition for the IndoChina Region, conceptualised through a landmark collaboration between the Thai Plastic Industries Association, The Federation of Thai Industries - Plastic Industry Club and Messe Duesseldorf Asia, returns to Thailand in 2009 with a role that is clearer than ever.  It will be the key avenue for international suppliers in the plastics and rubber industries to extend their reach into the growing and increasingly important Thai and Indochina markets.

TIPREX 2009 will introduce the latest in cutting-edge processing solutions, technologies and products to the Thai and Indochina plastic and rubber sectors that are playing significant roles in elevating the manufacturing and industrial sectors to the next level.

Last Event Highlights
The inaugural TIPREX 2006 embraced the strong support from both leading international, regional and Thai exhibiting companies including the 4 national pavilions from Austria, Germany, Italy and Singapore.  The exhibition presented a comprehensive range of machinery and equipment, processing solutions and services to 7,573 trade visitors and buyers from 50 countries of which 88 percent came from Thailand.

Analysis of random visitor survey during the exhibition:

7.5 percent of the visitors indicated that the products and services on display at TIPREX exceeded their expectations, 85 percent were satisfied with the range and the remaining 7.5 percent wanted to see more plastic and rubber machinery.

Likelihood of purchase
33 percent of the visitors revealed that they would likely buy some of the products and technologies exhibited at TIPREX.  Another 43 percent were considering their options.  All in all, 52 percent of the visitors revealed that they were likely to make a purchase directly with the exhibitors either on the spot or soon after the exhibition.
