Green Plastic Pencil Case the New School Sensation

Aware of the growing consumption of ecological products and with its eye on the return to school after the long vacation, Faber-Castell is launching the EcoEstojo, an ecological pencil case. Made from Braskem's green polyethylene (also known as green plastic, in turn produced from sugarcane-derived ethanol), the EcoEstojo has the same characteristics as traditional plastic, is recyclable and as an additional advantage,  helps capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. More specifically, each kg of green plastic produced prevents the emission of and captures between 2 and 2.5 kg of CO2. In addition to its sustainable characteristics, the product has a fully up-to-date design and can be used both as a pencil case and a pencil holder.
