Technigraph Corporation, a division of Alpha Packaging, has just introduced its environmentally friendly Eco-Frost™ Spray Frost for plastic and glass. The high-end look of the proprietary Spray Frost provides customers with an additional ‘green’ packaging option, because unlike conventional spray frosts, it contains no VOCs or solvents.

Chuck Eddy, Vice President of Sales for Technigraph, says Eco-Frost offers many options to help companies differentiate their brand with a premium look. ‘Customers can choose from clear or coloured frosts and translucent or opaque tinted coatings. Eco-Frost can be used as a single colour or in multiple colours with fades. And the spray frost and coating processes can easily be combined with our environmentally friendly UV screen printing of upto six colours.’ Eddy also says the Eco-Frost coatings can be used on bottles, jars, closures and custom parts made from plastic or glass.

Eco-Frost is ideal for high-end personal care products, fragrances, cosmetics and liquors and any company that wants to convey a luxury image can take advantage of this process. For example, one of the first Eco-Frost customers is a high-end pet care line.
